Winter Crafts for Kids

Sparkly Snowflake Craft

Kids of all ages will enjoy this sparkly snowflake craft. All you need are some popsicle sticks, glue, bingo dot markers, and sequins. Once they are completed your kids will love hanging their sparkly snowflakes on their door or in their room. Pro tip: Put the snowflakes on a baking sheet before bringing out the sequins to contain the mess. 

Tissue Paper Mittens

Don’t you just love crafts like this one that allows you to use up scraps from previous art projects? You can have this craft set up in no time, all you need is a white paper with an oversized mitten drawn on it, a paintbrush, glue mixed with water, and tissue paper scraps. Your kids will love layering the tissue paper on the mittens. 

Arctic Fox Craft

I love paper plate crafts, don’t you? For this adorable arctic fox craft, you will need paper plates, googly eyes, a black pom pom, white tissue paper scraps, a stapler, and glue. Your kids will love making this cute craft! 

Doily Snowman Craft

Winter Cardinal Handprint Craft

Snowman Puppets

These snowman puppets are cute and easy to make with cotton makeup remover pads and popsicle sticks. Once your snowman puppets are decorated, have the kids put on a puppet show with them! 

Snow Globe Craft

This snow globe craft is so adorable and you don’t have to worry about this one getting broken! All you need is black and blue construction paper, white paint, markers, glue, and a small piece of ribbon for a scarf. After the snow globe is dry you can let your kids display it in their rooms. 

Popsicle Stick Penguins

These popsicle stick penguins are a quick and easy craft your kids will love! You will need popsicle sticks, black paint or markers, glue, googly eyes, and construction paper or felt for this project. Once complete they would make really cute refrigerator magnets…just glue a magnet on the back!
