Freezer Meals for the Busy Fam!
Hi Friends,
Do you want to feed your family healthy home cooked meals even on those really busy days when you don’t have time to cook? Then freezer meals may be the perfect solution for you.
Not familiar with freezer meals or freezer cooking? No problem, let me give you a quick rundown of what it is, and how to do it, and then we’ll talk about some delicious recipes to get you started. So freezer meals are meals that you can pull out of your freezer any time you don’t have time to or don’t feel like cooking. Freezer meals can be cooked and then frozen, or the meal ingredients can be frozen together and cooked later.
If the concept of freezer cooking is new to you, or you are building your freezer stash from scratch the easiest way to start is by doubling or tripling a recipe that you know your family likes. If there are soups, stews, chili’s or casseroles that you know your family likes the next time you make it, make at least two. One for dinner and one for the freezer for another night.
Uncooked freezer meals are frequently referred to as “dump” meals because you can just “dump” the ingredients from your freezer into your crockpot and come home to a hot and delicious meal.
Freezer meals are not just for dinner, they can come in handy for breakfast, lunches, and even desserts.
