Disney Tips

Hi friends!

The tickets are bought, the dates are set and you are ready for your next Disney vacation. Whether it's your first visit or your 50th  there are some tips you can use to make the experience even more magical!

Hire a Disney Travel Agent
First things first.. Start your Disney vacation planning by hiring a Disney Travel Agent! I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jenna from Mainstmama on two separate occasions, and she’s phenomenal. The best part? Her services are completely free! Jenna takes care of all the planning, provides guidance, and offers support at every step, ensuring your trip is nothing short of magical. Check out her Instagram [here] to get started. Jenna makes your trip pure MAGIC!

Arrive Early
Make it a point to get to the park about half an hour before rope drop. This means you can be some of the first guests in the park, and can head to you to be at the front of the line for your favorite attractions. It also lets you get some rides in before it starts to get HOT!

Take a Park Bag
Disney may be the most magical place on earth but you still need all the things and a way to carry them. Your park bag should include sunscreen, snacks, sunglasses, water bottle, and a charging block for your phone at a minimum.
Other items that you may need depend on the ages of your kids and any medical needs your family may have.

Download the App
Make sure that you download the My Disney Experience app before you head to the parks. With this app you can mobile order meals, track your lightning lane reservations, see the wait times for rides, and use it as a map. You can also use it  to leave compliments for cast members, order a car, or make a last minute dining reservation.

Take a Portable Charger
A long day in the parks can take a toll on your phone charge. Pictures, using the Disney app, and keeping up with others in your group can leave you with no battery left in your phone. You can rent chargers in the park, but it can get expensive, and a portable charger in your bg doesn’t take up much room or have much weight.

Be Prepared for Rain
It’s south Florida, so you can expect a pop up rain shower just about any afternoon. You don’t have to let them dampen your Disney spirit though. Pack a travel umbrella or ponchos into your park bag and let the fun continue. If you have young children and need a stroller make sure that  you have a waterproof stroller cover.

Dress Comfortably
Yes, you want to be Disney cute for all of your photos, but you also want to have an amazing day, so make sure to dress comfortably. Lightweight, breathable clothing and comfortable walking shoes are a must. You don’t want to ruin your trip by getting blisters on the first day!

Have a Plan
This is vacation at the most magical place on earth so you don’t have to have a detailed minute by minute itinerary, but a loose idea of what you want to see and do is a good idea. Once you have an idea about which attractions are a must, you can map out your day around the park.

Use the tips to make your amazing Disney vacation even better. Being comfortable and having a plan, even a loose one, can make your days in the park even more magical. Do you have any Disney tips to share?

XOXO,
ari
